I love crystals, rocks and I do have lots of different types of "crystals" around. I use them in my daily life, I use them in my work.
I held a rose quartz, just until I was wheeled into surgery. They are around the garden in my medicine wheel, and planted into little sacred spots in the trees and woods. They sparkle. I like that. These have been out under the full moon, in the rain, in the wind, and are now experiencing a bit of sun, in a crystal singing bowl. This bowl is the "solar plexus chakra" toning bowl......and pretty powerful when I get her singing in her powerful voice. Singing bowls...that's another story. Anyway, if you know me personally, you know there is ever too much "sparkle" ie glitter for me. I love it.......and love to see it around.....fairy dust! I have found some natural glitter, so I do not feel guilty using it lots!! But's that's glitter, not crystals. These stones are my friends, guardians, and keepers of space. They, I believe, have a memory, and a notion about what the "color of themselves" gives to the world.
As a young girl, very young, I wanted a crystal ball, like Merlin's. I wanted to sink deep inside the crystal cave. I longed for the knowledge I felt existed there. So I read, everything, I could about Merlin and Arthur's court and about crystals and rocks and feathers and trees and wood and swords and magical woods. I dreamed that one day I would walk in those magical mystical places. And now I do.
Here I live on this beautiful sacred land, in the Great Smoky Mountains on a place that use to be called Serpent Mountain. Wow!!! I love serpents and snakes and all manner of those creatures too and that, as well, is another story. Here I sit, as I have these many weeks, enveloped by the mountain, the trees, the waters of the creeks, the rise of Spring is a glorious color of flowers. I am injured, but what better place to "sit" and heal. Tap into the energy of that Crystal Cave.
I know, Merlin is a myth....or is he? Like all things, "as we believe, so shall it be, so it is.
